Dear Cutlerish / Safe Dash / De-Animate
If Missing-e / Safe Dash had an option to block only animated gifs in the same way the regular Safe Dash blocks all the photos it would single-handedly make the internet worth visiting again.
Though of course just this option would probably make tumblr mad because nobody would ever visit tumblr without endless moronic gifs of kitties and movie clips (including dialog set in Impact!) so they would lose everything—EVERYTHING—and would be a huge headache for their crack Customer Service team so maybe it’s not a good idea.
But really. I can’t stand it anymore and I’d rather not unfollow everyone who posts animated gifs.
Gah.
